5 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said that tight end Trey Burton (hernia) underwent sports hernia surgery in the offseason, but the hope is that he'll be ready to return by training camp this summer. Even with Adam Shaheen also on the roster, Burton should be the top pass-catching tight end in an improving offense under quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Burton had a career-high 54 receptions for 569 yards and six touchdowns in 2018 and should be able to improve on those numbers in his second year in the Windy City.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
