Trevor Rogers Making His Case For Rookie Of The Year
3 years agoMiami Marlins left-hander Trevor Rogers continues to be one of the best rookie arms in baseball in 2021. Rogers has allowed just two earned runs on six hits over 13 innings in his last two outings against the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals, walking only two and striking out 14 for an opponents' OPS of just .392. Not only is he one of the most outstanding rookie hurlers in baseball, but he's one of the better all-around pitchers, as his 1.87 ERA on the season ranks third in the National League. He's allowed just four earned runs in 19 innings while striking out 19 and walking four in the month of June. Rogers is the real deal, folks. Continue to start him in all fantasy leagues on Wednesday night at home against the Toronto Blue Jays.
