6 years agoThe Cleveland Indians will activate starting pitcher Trevor Bauer (leg) from the disabled list in order to start on Friday against the Red Sox, according to manager Terry Francona. However, Bauer is only expected to go a couple innings and will be followed by starter Shane Bieber out of the bullpen. Bauer's next start could come on Tuesday against the White Sox. The right-hander has been out since Aug. 11 but was excellent before his injury. He won't be much of a fantasy force on Friday, but he could be a candidate to use next Tuesday if he can go a bit longer. The Indians are trying to get Bauer stretched out for a postseason run.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
