Trent Taylor Won't Play On Monday
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Trent Taylor (back) will not play on Monday night against the Packers due to a back condition, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Taylor had offseason back surgery to remove bone spurs from his back and has only 16 catches for 125 yards and a touchdown in five games this year. With Marquise Goodwin and Pierre Garcon expected to play, Richie James and Victor Bolden are expected to fill Taylor's shoes with Dante Pettis also ruled out. Neither of them are worth fantasy consideration, however. James, a seventh-round pick, is likely to be the top slot receiver with Taylor out. He had one catch for seven yards in Week 5.
