5 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers placed wide receiver Trent Taylor (foot) on Injured Reserve on Friday and re-signed offensive tackle Sam Young to a one-year contract in a corresponding move. Taylor had surgery Aug. 10 to fix a Jones fracture in his right foot and must sit out at least eight weeks before he's eligible to appear in a game. Taylor can be dropped by any owners who were holding him in redraft leagues at this point. Marquise Goodwin and rookie Deebo Samuel have emerged as the top pass-catchers for San Fran after two weeks, while Dante Pettis is sinking into oblivion.
