5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Trent Grisham will be in the team's starting lineup on Thursday, according to manager Craig Counsell. Grisham will be facing A's starter Daniel Mengden in his debut in Oakland. The 22-year-old former first-round pick has earned the promotion by hitting .300/.407/.603 with 26 home runs, 71 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 97 games between Double-A Biloxi and Triple-A San Antonio this year. This comes after underwhelming in previous years in the minor leagues. Grisham will get his chance to prove he belongs in Milwaukee's outfield, which will make him immediately appealing for his power/speed combination in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.
