6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw has been informed that he will be out of the lineup all three days this weekend with the Cubs throwing three left-handed starters. It'll give Shaw a chance to clear his head amidst his slump and watch video. Shaw's average has fallen to .172 (22-for-128), and he's gone 4-for-39 (.103) with 12 strikeouts and five walks since April 27. Shaw shouldn't be outright dropped in fantasy leagues, but he obviously needs to ride the virtual pine until he fixes his swing. Hernan Perez is at second base and is hitting seventh against Cubs starter Jose Quintana on Friday. Perez doesn't have much DFS upside that low in the order, but it looks like he'll be looking at more playing time this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
