Travis Konecny Racks Up Two Assists And 18 Penalty Minutes
2 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny was a busy man in many ways in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to Toronto, grabbing assists on both of the team's goals while also registering 18 penalty minutes. He picked up a bunch of penalties for roughing and was hit with a 10-minute misconduct penalty with a couple of minutes left in the game. His assists came on goals by Joel Farabee and Owen Tippett, who netted on the power play and now boasts three points in four games since returning from injury. The Flyers squad looks very weak on paper, but the team has played well early in the campaign and Konecny has been one of the catalysts of Philadelphia's success. He leads the team with four goals and 11 points in 10 games. The 25-year-old has averaged 0.64 points per game over his career, so fantasy managers must be very pleased with how things are going right now.
