Travis Homer Signs Two-Year Deal With Bears
2 years agoFormer Seattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer signed a two-year deal worth a maximum of $4.5 million with the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, according to his agent Spencer Cannold. Homer will head to the Bears after former Chicago running back David Montgomery left in free agency to join the Detroit Lions. The 24-year-old should be able to pick up some playing time behind Khalil Herbert in the Windy City, but how much remains to be seen. In his four seasons with Seattle, Homer accumulated 83 carries for 453 yards and one touchdown while securing 52 of his 61 targets for 464 additional yards and two touchdowns in 49 games (two starts). He's likely to have more appeal in deep PPR leagues in his new home.
