6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (foot) and tight end Antonio Gates (illness) both missed practice on Thursday. Benjamin was limited on Wednesday, so this is surely bad news for his chances of returning in Week 3. Gates is nearing the end of his career and just can't be trusted for fantasy purposes anymore. He has just two catches on four targets through two weeks. Benjamin is a boom-or-bust deep threat that mostly busts for fantasy owners in standard-scoring leagues. If both Gates and Benjamin sit out against the Rams, that'll be good for Keenan Allen, Tyrell Williams and red-zone weapon Mike Williams.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
