Trae Young Drops 30 Points On Thunder
3 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young scored a game-high 30 points on 9-for-20 shooting in Monday's win over OKC. He was 5-for-9 with the three-ball and 7-for-7 at the foul line, bagging 21 of his points in the second half. Young produced six assists with two turnovers and picked up four rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes. His shooting can be streaky, but Young rarely disappoints and he came through with another good performance here. He should enjoy the next two matchups as well. Wednesday night, Atlanta faces a Spurs team that's giving up the 10th-most points in the league to point guards this season, and on Friday, Young can battle with Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, who allow a league-high 9.5 assists per 48 minutes to point guards.
