Tony Pollard Does Well In Week 9
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard did well in Week 9, running the ball nine times for 57 yards and catching a pass for one more yard on two targets. Pollard still took a backseat to starter Ezekiel Elliott even though Elliott was expected to be limited. Pollard saw half as many carries as Elliott's 18, but gained six more yards. Pollard was clearly the more efficient runner in this one, but he remains no threat to Elliott's starting job. Pollard is still a potential high-upside RB2 if Elliott misses time, but he'll continue to be little more than a change-of-pace option unless that happens.
