4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) is throwing from 180 feet, but he hasn't progressed to throwing off a mound. There is no timetable for Gonsolin's return from right shoulder inflammation. The good news is that the 26-year-old looks to be making progress, but he's not exactly close to a return. He has yet to pitch an inning in 2021 after impressing with a 2.31 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, 46 strikeouts and seven walks in 46 2/3 innings over nine outings (eight starts) for the Dodgers in the regular season last year. Gonsolin is a valuable swing man for the Dodgers when he's healthy, but he can be left to the waiver wire in most standard mixed leagues for now.
