Tommy Pham Reinstated From Injured List
6 months agoThe Chicago White Sox announced on Friday that they have reinstated outfielder Tommy Pham (ankle) from the 10-day injured list and optioned outfielder Zach DeLoach and right-hander Jordan Leasure to Triple-A Charlotte in corresponding moves. Right-hander Chad Kuhl also had his contract selected from Charlotte. While the lineup isn't out yet, Pham figures to be back in it on Friday for the start of a series in Arizona against his former team, the Diamondbacks. The 36-year-old's return is bad news for Corey Julks' playing time for the rebuilding Pale Hose. The White Sox hope that Pham can continue to build up his trade value this summer. Fantasy managers can't expect much counting stats from Pham in Chicago, but he has hit a strong .280 (37-for-132) in Chicago through 33 games in 2024.
