6 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is excited about the return of wide receiver Julian Edelman from his four-game suspension and is confident that he'll be able to contribute right away this Thursday against the Colts. Brady has excellent chemistry with Edelman, and the receiver gains a lot of separation from defenders getting in and out of his breaks because of his speed and quickness. "There’s a lot that he does well, and hopefully it’s a smooth transition. Got to prepare this week — it’s going to be a big week of prep and then we’ll go out there and play Thursday night and see where we’re at," Brady said. Edelman may have his snaps limited as he gets back up to peak conditioning in his first week back, but he should still be started in most fantasy lineups, especially in PPR leagues. With tight end Rob Gronkowski (ankle) likely to be questionable, the Pats may need Edelman more than they realize.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
