Tom Brady Has Agreement With Buccaneers
5 years agoUpdating an ongoing story, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady have an agreement in principle that is believed to be for around $30 million per season, according to a source. It came down to the Bucs and the Chargers, and Brady wanted to remain on the East coast to keep his family in the same time zone. It doesn't hurt that Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will be his top two receivers either. Head coach Bruce Arians is a bright offensive mind and Brady should have an excellent shot to bounce back from 2019, although he will be 43 years old this year and prefers the safe throws underneath over airing it out deep like Jameis Winston did. It's a nice landing spot for Brady, but it doesn't mean he should be drafted as a QB1.
