5 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that running back Todd Gurley will not be on a snap count in the season opener on Sunday against the Panthers. Gurley's knee issues were the talk of the offseason, and his fantasy value fell accordingly with talk of the Rams devising a plan this year to limit his touches in order to keep him healthy all season. The Rams will likely pump the breaks on Gurley at times in 2019, but they won't hold back in the season opener against Carolina. Gurley still has high-end upside week in and week out, but he's more of a low-end RB1 against Carolina's strong defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
