Todd Gurley Has Yet To Run This Week
6 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (knee) has yet to run and test his knee in practice this week, and he might not be able to play in Week 16 against the Cardinals. “I think I’ll be fine, man,” Gurley said. “Just taking it day-by-day recovering, resting, trying to feel better.” Gurley doesn't plan on practicing at all this week, so his fantasy owners run the risk of Gurley being limited or even shut down altogether if the Rams jump out to a big lead early. Head coach Sean McVay said he won't risk Gurley's availability for the playoffs by playing him in the final two regular season games if he's not healthy enough. Justin Davis (shoulder) also missed practice Thursday, so rookie John Kelly and C.J. Anderson might have to carry the load if both Gurley and Davis can't play. Gurley might be more of a low-end RB1 if he suits up, even in a great matchup against the Cardinals. It's bad timing with fantasy titles on the line this weekend.
