6 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that he expects running back Todd Gurley (knee) to play in the divisional round on Jan. 12. “I think it’s been making good progress. He’s feeling good,” McVay told reporters. “He came in today and everything was positive with what we’re getting from [senior director of sports medicine and performance] Reggie [Scott]. We’ll take it a day at a time." Gurley missed the last two games of the regular season to the dismay of his fantasy owners, while C.J. Anderson admirably filled in by rushing for 299 yards and two touchdowns in Gurley's absence. Gurley will be a popular DFS pick in the playoffs, but he'll come at a high cost and might not be as effective as he was during the regular season coming off a long layoff.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
