6 years agoNew York Mets corner infielder Todd Frazier (oblique) is playing nine innings on his rehab assignment on Tuesday, including four innings at shortstop. If the Mets feel confident with Frazier at shortstop, they could send Luis Guillorme back to the minors when Frazier is ready to return. The 33-year-old Frazier has pop in his bat but hit just .213 last year and will see sporadic playing time at mainly third base and first base with the Mets when he makes his season debut. It hasn't helped that rookie Peter Alonso looks like a star in the making at first base so far.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
