3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers activated right-hander Michael Fulmer (spine) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and designated left-hander Ian Krol for assignment in a corresponding move. Fulmer missed a month with a right cervical spine strain, and he's expected to return in a relief role for Detroit after he excelled there before his injury. Fulmer has six saves, a 4.05 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 42 punch-outs in 40 innings overall this year, and although he could see a save chance here or there, Gregory Soto has become the best option for saves in Detroit. The oft-injured Fulmer has never been a big strikeout guy, either, although he does have a career-high 9.5 K/9 so far in 2021. He should only be picked up in much deeper leagues if you're desperate for saves.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
