3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers reinstated relief pitcher Andrew Chafin (groin) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Chafin suffered a groin injury in spring training and opened the regular season on the injured list, so he'll be making both his season and Tigers debut when he gets into a game. The 31-year-old veteran left-hander had an excellent 2021 season with the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics, posting a 1.83 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in 68 2/3 relief innings. He should work in high-leverage situations out of the bullpen as a setup man for closer Gregory Soto, which could give him some value in deep holds leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
