6 years agoThe Houston Texans are signing free-agent place kicker Nick Rose to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Rose made 11 of his 14 field goal attempts with the Redskins and Chargers last year, including one of two from 50-plus yards. He'll compete with Ka'imi Fairbairn for kicking duties. Despite Houston's offense being on the upswing under second-year quarterback Deshaun Watson, neither Rose nor Fairbairn should be fantasy options to begin the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
