Texans Not Worried About Brandin Cooks' Health
5 years agoHouston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he feels "really good" about wide receiver Brandin Cooks' (head) health after a physical with a doctor in Los Angeles. Cooks head recurring concussion issues that caused him to miss two games with the Rams in 2019. "Yes, he's had concussions, but he's only missed two games since 2015. All that was taken into account when we worked with [Rams coach] Sean McVay on the trade," O'Brien said. The 26-year-old has had 1,000-yard receiving seasons with the Saints, Patriots and Rams, but he disappointed in 2019 in LA. He will start in three-wide sets with Will Fuller V and Randall Cobb in his new home, and Cooks could bounce back with better health in Houston's offense. He should be targeted as a boom/bust WR3 for fantasy owners.
