Tevin Coleman Expected To Miss Time
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman (ankle), who sprained his ankle in the Week 1 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday, is expected to miss time, according to a source. Coleman is undergoing additional tests on Monday. Jeffery Wilson could be promoted from the practice squad to give the Niners some additional backfield depth behind Matt Breida and Raheem Mostert. It's a tough break for Coleman in his first year with the 49ers, but he may only miss a week or two. Breida immediately becomes an RB2 heading into Week 2 against the Bengals, while Mostert is worth considering off the waiver wire in the short term.
