Terry McLaurin, Landon Collins Ruled Out
5 years agoWashington Redskins interim head coach Bill Callahan has ruled out rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin (concussion) and safety Landon Collins (shoulder) for Week 17 against the Cowboys. McLaurin will finish his impressive first year in the NFL just short of 1,000 yards receiving (919). He caught 58 passes (93 targets) and scored seven times. If quarterback Dwayne Haskins can improve in 2020, McLaurin will have high-end upside in just his second season for fantasy owners. With him out in the season finale, the Redskins will be forced to go with rookies Steven Sims Jr. and Kelvin Harmon as their top wideouts. Collins' absence is bad news for a Washington secondary that was already pretty weak. It's great news for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his wideouts in a must-win game.
