Terry McLaurin In Concussion Protocol
5 years agoWashington Redskins rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury after a catch late in the Week 16 game against the Giants. He will be re-evaluated on Thursday. McLaurin has been the team's most dynamic playmaker all season long, but his status for the season finale against the Cowboys will be in question. The 24-year-old third-round pick has touchdowns in two of his last three games and had a season-high seven catches for 86 yards last weekend. He had five catches for 62 yards and a score back on Sept. 15 against the Cowboys and would have WR2 upside if he suits up. McLaurin needs just 81 yards for 1,000 in his first season. Steven Sims Jr. would be Washington's No. 1 receiver if McLaurin doesn't get cleared.
