Tari Eason Likely To Play Against Cavaliers
7 months agoHouston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) is probable on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Eason is prone to load management on back-to-backs due to lower left leg soreness, which is the same leg he suffered a stress reaction in during the preseason. After missing the first six games of 2023-24, Eason only missed one date on the second leg of a back-to-back on Nov. 20 with the issue. The Rockets have kept his minutes in check, but Eason is starting to break free from the constraints with rising play of late. The 22-year-old defensive dynamo is averaging 16.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.8 treys in 26.5 minutes per game across his last four displays and is flying from fantasy waiver wires. If Eason is surprisingly ruled out on Monday, Jeff Green and Jae'Sean Tate would likely experience a minutes uptick.
