Tari Eason Cleared For Season Debut
8 months agoHouston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) is active for Wednesday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Eason is ready to make his 2023-24 season debut on Wednesday, after he missed the opening six games of the year due to a stress reaction in his left leg he suffered late during the preseason. Head coach Ime Udoka previously implied that the 22-year-old defensive specialist is in line for approximately 15 minutes of action, which is unlikely to be enough for instant fantasy value. But with first-round rookie Amen Thompson (ankle) currently nursing a Grade 2 ankle sprain, it may not be long before Eason is needed to engage in a more featured role. Keep the 2022 first-rounder on season-long watchlists. Eason figures to most noticeably eat into the playing time of Jae'Sean Tate against the Lakers.
