He sparked a third-period comeback with his seventh goal of the season and also made it seven for the season in the assists department when he helped Alex Tuch to net the eventual game-winner 10:34 into the final frame. Thompson, who produced a sensational six-point performance against Detroit on Monday, has racked up eight points across his last three outings, which is the second-most by a Sabres player over a three-game span.
