T.Y. Hilton, Darius Leonard Out For Second Straight Day
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) and All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard (concussion) were out of practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Hilton could still play in Week 4 against the Raiders, but we'd feel a lot better about keeping him in our lineups if he got in some work at practice on Friday. You need to seriously consider using other options at this point, as Hilton didn't even make it a full game last week against the Falcons. Parris Campbell, Deon Cain and tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle could be much more involved in the offense if Hilton is out or limited. Leonard missed last week and doesn't appear to be on track to return this Sunday. Plan to be without him until further notice. His injury is good news for rookie Josh Jacobs and Oakland's backfield.
