6 years agoNew York Mets infielder T.J. Rivera (elbow) hasn't resumed his minor league rehab assignment yet after a setback last month, but he's still expected to join the team when rosters expand in September. Rivera is coming back from Tommy John surgery last summer. He has hit .304 with eight home runs and 43 RBI in 319 at-bats over the last two seasons with the Mets, but he'll likely just be a bench option to close out the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
