Steve Wilks Is One And Done In Arizona
6 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks told his staff on Monday that he will no longer be the head coach moving forward, according to sources. Wilks only got one season in the desert, but he did supply the organization with the No. 1 overall pick in next year's draft after going 3-13 in 2018. To be fair to Wilks, Arizona's roster was one of the weakest overall in the entire league, so he didn't have much to work with. Rookie quarterback Josh Rosen was dreadful all year as well. The Cardinals have a long way to go to be relevant again, but it'll start by building competent weapons on the offensive line and at the skill positions around Rosen in 2019.
