Stephen Strasburg To Start Game 2 Against Dodgers
5 years agoWashington Nationals manager Dave Martinez said that starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg will start in Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Dodgers on Friday. Stras tossed three shutout innings in the wild-card win over the Brewers on Tuesday and went 18-6 with a 3.32 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 251 strikeouts in 209 innings this year in his 33 starts. He was a little more hittable on the road with a 3.39 ERA and 1.11 WHIP, but he still had a dominant 10.2 K/9. In two starts against the Blue in 2019, Strasburg allowed only three runs while walking two and striking out 16 in 13 innings. It'll be Clayton Kershaw against Strasburg. It doesn't get much better than that in the playoffs. You really can't go wrong either way in DFS tournaments.
