Stephen Strasburg Throws Simulated Game
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck) said his simulated game on Wednesday went well. He doesn't see any reason he won't feel good on Thursday and said if he does, "I'll get ready for a start." Strasburg has been out since July 20, so he'll likely need several minor league rehab starts before the Nats clear him to return. But everything appears on the right track, and he could be back in the rotation by the end of the month. The right-hander is 6-7 on the year with a 3.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 101 K's in 85 1/3 innings.
