Stephen Curry Sinks Six Triples Against Portland
3 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry continued to close in on the league's three-pointers record on Wednesday, hitting 6-for-17 from downtown during a 22-point performance in a 104-94 win against Portland. He finished 8-for-19 overall from the field and completed his night at the office with two rebounds, two assists, one steal and four turnovers. Curry now needs only 10 more makes from deep to break Ray Allen's record of 2,973 regular-season threes. He's had a few performances with nine triples this season, so hitting the milestone in Saturday's game against Philadelphia isn't out of the question. However, it's much more likely that the special night comes during next week's four-game slate.
