Steelers Defense Struggling
6 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers defense will enter Week 5 against the Falcons ranked 30th in the NFL in total defense, allowing 420 yards per game through four weeks. They are also 25th in scoring defense, giving up 29 points per game. Injuries have been the main culprit, as free-agent acquisition Morgan Burnett has struggled to get to full health early in the year. Slot cornerback Mike Hilton also missed Week 4 and backup safety Nat Berhe left the game in the second half with a pectoral injury. Burnett's injury has forced rookie safety Terrell Edmunds into more playing time. Pittsburgh's defense just shouldn't be used in fantasy right now, and they are an attackable matchup for opposing offenses.
