6 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates activated outfielder Starling Marte (abdomen) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and optioned outfielder Jason Martin to Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move. Marte is back in center field and is batting second against Rangers starter Adrian Sampson on Tuesday night. The 30-year-old is off to a slow start, batting .203 (14-for-69), but he does have two homers, nine RBI and three steals. His power/speed combination plays in all leagues. Get him back into your lineups for this matchup. His return will also hurt the playing time of prospect Bryan Reynolds.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
