Spencer Steer Goes Deep In Third Consecutive Game
4 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Spencer Steer went 1-for-3 with a walk and his 13th home run of the season on Saturday afternoon. His long ball in the ninth inning extended his home run streak to a remarkable three games. Since June 22, Steer has been swinging a hot bat with a .286/.375/.612 line and four home runs, 13 RBI, and a 5:14 BB:K ratio. In 87 games this season, the Oregon product sits with a .243/.336/.435 line. He does boast an above-average 10.6% walk rate which does increase his value in points leagues. Steer remains a solid outfield option in all formats and should continue to tally a stable amount of counting stats on a strong Cincinnati offense.
