Sonny Gray Only Makes It Four Innings Thursday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sonny Gray (leg) left the game on Thursday against the Marlins after throwing four scoreless innings. He took a comebacker off his leg in the outing, but it's unclear if that was the reason for his removal from the contest. Gray only allowed two hits and fanned six of the 13 batters he faced in the shortened outing to drop his season ERA to a nice 2.03 in three starts, although he hasn't won a game yet in his first year in Cincy. We'll get you more details on Gray's injury when we have them, but so far he's impressed fantasy owners after two down seasons in New York.
