Shohei Ohtani’s Next Start Moved To Tuesday
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter/starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (finger) is having his next start against the San Diego Padres put off until Tuesday versus Joe Musgrove in place of Monday. Swingman Jaime Barria will take the hill on Monday vs. Blake Snell instead. Ohtani sustained a cracked fingernail in last Tuesday's game with the Chicago White Sox, but the two-way superstar shook it off to launch an insurance home run as a hitter late in the 4-2 win. Ohtani boasts an MLB-best 5.7 hits per nine innings and AL-high 12.0 strikeouts per nine frames over 95 1/3 innings this year. Fantasy managers should ensure the MVP front runner is slotted in as a pitcher for the Fourth of July.
