6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels "do not plan" on having designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) travel with them for their two-game series against the Astros in Mexico this weekend, according to manager Brad Ausmus. Ohtani is getting close to making his 2019 debut, but it probably won't come until sometime next week. He'll be the primary DH when he's ready, which will be bad news for both Albert Pujols and Justin Bour. Ohtani has a fine mix of power and speed and should be stashed in all formats.
