Shohei Ohtani Goes Deep Twice, Jumps In Front For AL Lead In Homers
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani shined with two home runs during a 2-for-4 evening with four RBI in the team's wild 9-6 extra-inning win over the Texas Rangers on Monday. The 28-year-old now stands atop the AL with 20 long balls this year. Ohtani has a stratospheric .396 AVG with eight big flies and 17 RBI over his last 13 games. The two-way sensation is slashing a spectacular .291/.362/.593 with the aforementioned 20 taters, 50 RBI, and nine stolen bases this season. Ohtani might very well be on the way to his second MVP award in the last three campaigns. Fantasy managers should just enjoy the ride.
