Sergei Bobrovsky Picks Up His Second Shutout
3 years agoFlorida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky needed to stop only 18 pucks against Ottawa to pick up his second shutout of the season on Thursday in a 3-0 win. This was a very easy ride for the former Vezina Trophy winner as Florida outshot the Senators 48-18. It was also a much-needed victory for Bobrovsky after he had endured a couple of rough outings against Edmonton and Nashville. The Russian netminder now boasts a 27-6-3 record for the season with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. Only Carolina's Frederik Andersen and Tampa Bay's Andrei Vasilevskiy have collected more victories this season.
