Sergei Bobrovsky Matches Franchise Record With Solid Work
3 years agoFlorida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky saved 27 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 6-1 victory over the Islanders, improving to 7-0-2 for the season. He became the second goalie in Panthers history with points in each of his first nine or more decisions at the start of a season. The Russian netminder has gone a perfect 5-0-0 at home and will get plenty of more home games in the upcoming weeks, as Florida faces just one road game in the next eight outings. Bobrovsky has allowed only 1.78 goals per game this season with a .942 save percentage.
