3 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Sean Murphy is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Texas Rangers. Aramis Garcia is behind the plate and is hitting ninth against Rangers left-hander Kolby Allard. Murphy hit his second homer in three games in the 5-3 loss on Wednesday, and he has five home runs and a .603 slugging percentage in June after hitting just five long balls in the first two months of the season combined. The second-year catcher has a .227 average because he has plenty of swing and miss in his game, but fantasy managers can't argue with the power at the shallowest position in baseball. Garcia, who has 13 hits in 65 at-bats (.200/.235/.308), is not a recommended DFS play on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
