5 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea (shoulder) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Wednesday and upped the intensity at the end, according to manager Bob Melvin. There remains no timetable for Manaea's return to the rotation after left shoulder surgery, but he could return around the All-Star break. The left-hander went 12-9 with a 3.59 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 6.0 K/9 in 27 starts (160 2/3 innings) for Oakland in 2018 and will be a fixture in all fantasy leagues in the second half if he looks healthy. He's owned in just six percent of Yahoo leagues currently, so consider stashing him sooner rather than later.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
