Seahawks Tried To Trade For Jacoby Brissett
6 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks attempted to trade for Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett and offered a second-round pick, which the Colts declined. Owner Jim Irsay said early this month that the team wouldn't be parting with Brissett. Colts starter Andrew Luck looks to be close to full healthy after missing all of last year with a right shoulder injury, but the Colts want to keep Brissett around as insurance. Brissett and the Colts offense struggled in 2017, but he's still a key backup in case Luck's shoulder injury flares up at any time.
