5 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks are expected to sign running back Robert Turbin and are still working on a deal to add Marshawn Lynch, according to sources. Both Turbin (2012-14) and Lynch 2010-15 will be reuniting with the Seahawks after they've lost Chris Carson (hip), Rashaad Penny (knee) and C.J. Prosise (arm) in recent weeks. Turbin and Lynch will join sixth-round rookie Travis Homer in the backfield for Week 17 against the 49ers and into the postseason. It's a feel-good story for both, especially Beast Mode, who won a Super Bowl with Seattle and posted four straight 1,000-yard seasons with double-digit touchdowns with the Seahawks. It remains to be seen who will lead this backfield in Week 17 in a tough matchup, but it could very well be a three-headed committee monster.
