Seahawks To Add More To D.K. Metcalf's Plate In 2020
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer said the team has talked "at length" about what more they can unlock with wide receiver D.K. Metcalf after he had 58 catches for 900 yards and seven touchdowns in a sensational rookie year. The 6-foot-4 star also had 160 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches against the Eagles in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. The yardage was an NFL rookie playoff record. Seattle has a desire to expand Metcalf's versatility in the passing game, moving him around the field more often. Despite being on a run-first team, Metcalf displayed his upside in Year 1 and could be even more valuable to fantasy owners if his route tree expanded. His draft stock heading into his sophomore campaign is on the rise.
